Care You Can Count On
See Why Families Are Smiling
Friendly and easy-going staff, simple and efficient process, and most importantly excellent doctor. We had an emergent situation and came here just because other places were all closed. Dr. Joo provided accurate evaluation, proper treatment, and professional guidance - everything perfectly done and latterly confirmed, verified, and praised by our regular/family dentist. This is a five star place.

The most caring crew that helped me with all the options that wouldn’t bankrupt me! So gentle and efficient, would recommend to anyone having a dental emergency especially on a weekend or Friday! Called me back and got me in same day and I was out in an hour and a half! Now I’m set up for long term tooth health.

I had an excellent experience here. I have a set of porcelain veneers I had put in about 8 years ago by a different dentist. Since then, most of those veneers have popped off at least once. Each time I go to an emergency dentist to get the veneer recemented. This time I found Emergency Dentist of Austin and they were able to book me in right away to get my veneer back in. Not only did I get SAME DAY service (on a Sunday of memorial weekend!) the team was super professional, kind and gentle. I highly recommend this place and their work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about emergency dental care? Get all the answers you need below.
What Do I Do In A Dental Emergency?
First, call our office at (512) 961-6200 and tell us about the situation. We’ll schedule you for a same-day appointment, and give you some tips on what to do before you come in. You can take over-the-counter pain medication like ibuprofen to help with the pain. Icing the affected area can also help with discomfort. If you’re bleeding, absorb the blood with clean gauze, paper towels, or cotton balls. Once it’s time for your appointment, come into our office ASAP for treatment, and we’ll get you out of pain and back to your normal routine.
What Should I Do If I’ve Knocked Out A Tooth?
Recover the tooth. Grab it by the top (crown) to avoid damaging the root. Put it into a container of cold milk to keep it moist. Then call Emergency Dentist of Austin to let us know you’re coming into our office immediately. Bring your tooth with you. Knocked-out teeth need to be replaced within 1-2 hours, so patients with knocked-out teeth are one of our top priorities. Get to our office as soon as you can, and our team will take care of the rest.
What Should I Do About A Chipped, Broken, Or Cracked Tooth?
Give us a call right away for a same-day appointment. Chipped, cracked, and broken teeth are highly vulnerable to infection, so you need to have your tooth repaired as soon as possible. At your appointment, your doctor will disinfect the area, clean out your tooth, and repair it. In some cases, you may need a root canal and/or crown to repair your tooth.
